We think lawyers should charge for outcomes, not hours. A lot of our work has a published fixed fee or starting price, and we confirm the scope and fee in writing before anything starts.
FORMATION
Attorney-reviewed formation packages. C-Corp registered agent and state filing fees are additional.

FUNDRAISING
Fixed fees from a first SAFE through Series B.
For companies raising for the first time.

Assumes Parallax formed the company.
Assumes Parallax advised on the seed round.

Series C and later, bridge rounds, secondaries, custom structures, and any round where Parallax didn’t advise on the prior round.
Priced-round fees assume Parallax formed the company or handled the prior round, as stated. New clients get a quote after a short review of their corporate records. New clients start with a $500 corporate document audit before a SAFE round.
OUTSIDE GENERAL COUNSEL
A set number of hours each month, with rollover. You can also use us as outside general counsel and pay by the matter or by the hour.
Seed stage, less than $2M raised.
Series A, $2M–$10M raised.
Series B, $10M+ raised.
Series B and later, tailored to your business.
Unused hours roll over up to each tier’s cap. We let you know when you’ve used 80% of your monthly hours; you can then upgrade, pay hourly for the extra time, or scope the work as a separate fixed-fee project.
TRANSACTIONS
Priced per deal. Structure, diligence, size, timing and the parties involved determine the work. We’ll agree a fixed fee or budget with you.
